Suspected Vinh University official sent sensitive photos, threatened female students

(Dan Tri) - Another female student at Vinh University, Nghe An, has posted a complaint that a student manager sent her sexually suggestive messages, sent her sensitive videos, and threatened to take action if she did not meet her personal demands.

On May 29, on a student forum, an anonymous account claiming to be a student of the 64th class of Vinh University ( Nghe An ) posted a long article accusing a school official named D. of harassing him, sending him sensitive messages, and threatening him.

According to the female student, the incident began when she was violated in her studies and had to work with an officer named D. from the Faculty of Pedagogy. Since then, she has continuously received text messages inviting her to have coffee, go for a walk, meet up outside and ask about her personal schedule.

The accused also sent many obscene images and videos , accompanied by sexually suggestive and threatening words.

Too frightened, the female student asked for help from another lecturer in the department. In the article, she shared: “I really cannot believe that in a pedagogical environment there are such scary people. They are staff, people who work directly with students…”.

In addition to the shared post, the poster also attached a screenshot of a text message allegedly between the female student and an officer named D., showing many offensive contents, with elements of threats and solicitation.

The above information has attracted the attention of Vinh University's student community and social networks. Many students left angry comments, asking the school to quickly verify and take strict action if true.

On the afternoon of May 29, Vinh University told Dan Tri reporter that it was establishing a working group to verify the incident.

"The individuals named in the report have all been reviewed and inspected according to the process. In particular, Mr. D. is currently identified as an assistant in charge of student management at the school," the school representative informed.

Previously, Dan Tri reported that a female student at Vinh University accused an officer named Q. of inviting her to drink beer and eat alone and using inappropriate language when she came to ask for document confirmation.

After reporting, the school requested the relevant staff to report and temporarily suspended them from student management work to serve the verification.
