These days, the countryside in Vu Quang is bustling with the spirit of building new rural areas (NTM). In village 3, An Phu commune, the lifestyle of "joining hands to beautify the homeland" has taken root deeply in the hearts of every citizen.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh (village 3) proudly shared: "Now, this has become a habit for us. Whenever the village has a policy, or simply sees an unclean road or a green fence that is not straight, people tell each other to join hands to do it. Living here, everyone feels the responsibility to make their homeland more beautiful, so that everyone can breathe fresh air and live in peace. From that thought, everyone is united in their efforts and hearts."

The landscape of An Phu commune is cleaner thanks to the active cleaning by the people.

That sincere sharing is also the voice of more than 100 people in village 3. Every weekend has become a festival to beautify the residential area of ​​the people here. Not only that, each house and alley is taken care of and maintained by each family. Thanks to that, the village's appearance is always bright, green, clean and beautiful.

Mr. Phan Van Hoa - Vice Chairman of An Phu Commune People's Committee excitedly said that not only in Hamlet 3 but also in all hamlets in the commune, the spirit of maintaining and improving the NTM criteria is always burning. Up to now, An Phu has almost completely achieved the criteria of a model NTM commune. From roads, gardens to cultural houses, drainage ditches... everywhere we see the joint efforts of the people.

"We have determined that this is a regular, continuous journey. The valuable thing is that the people have truly considered this a common task. The initiative and sense of responsibility of the people are the key for An Phu to move steadily towards higher goals," Mr. Phan Van Hoa emphasized.

Up to this point, Duc Linh commune has achieved 3/4 criteria of a model new rural commune.

No less exciting, Duc Linh commune is also focusing all its efforts on the goal of reaching the model NTM finish line. With tireless efforts, the locality has achieved most of the criteria (3/4 criteria). Currently, the entire political system and people are highly focused on completing the remaining "pieces".

Mr. Nguyen Xuan The - Secretary of the Duc Linh Commune Party Committee affirmed: "We always keep in mind that if we do something, we must do it well and thoroughly. After the initial achievements, we continue to review and listen to people's opinions to find optimal solutions. The consensus of the people is still the biggest driving force for Duc Linh to make a breakthrough on the journey of building a new rural area."

Mr. The added that since the beginning of the year, the commune has mobilized nearly 1,000 working days to renovate residential areas and improve the quality of criteria. From now until the end of the year, many peak emulation campaigns will be launched, both to welcome Party congresses at all levels and to aim for the highest goal of improving the quality of life for the people.

According to the Office of New Rural Areas in Vu Quang district, since the beginning of 2025, localities have closely followed the plan and actively mobilized the strength of the people. As a result, the whole district has mobilized more than 3,000 working days to renovate residential areas; planted nearly 4 km of new green fences; renovated and improved the quality of nearly 700 household gardens... The widespread momentum and high determination of the people and authorities of Vu Quang are the strong driving force for the district to firmly step on the journey of building an increasingly rich, civilized and livable countryside.

In the coming time, we will continue to promote propaganda and mobilization, and at the same time build appropriate mechanisms and policies to encourage people to continue to join hands.
