'Robot' Haaland sets unprecedented record in Champions League

It was the Norwegian striker's 18th goal for Man City in all competitions this season, and his fifth in the Champions League - with Mbappe and Harry Kane leading the scoring charts.

Notably, with the goal against his former team, Haaland set an unprecedented record in the Champions League, which even Ronaldo could not achieve. That is the achievement of scoring in 5 consecutive matches for 3 different clubs.

Before recreating this with Man City in the last 5 matches in Europe's most prestigious playground, Haaland had done it in Sanzburg (2019/20 season) and Dortmund (2020/21).

In addition to that 'unique' record, Haaland also moved one step closer to the top 10 players with the most goals in Champions League history. Pep's favorite student currently has 54 goals after 52 matches, although still ranked 9th but only 2 goals behind Van Nistelrooy above.

Furthermore, Haaland is the only player to score more than 1 goal per game.

Haaland is young and will certainly improve his ranking a lot.
