Da Nang International Airport Terminal was awarded the Welcome Chinese certificate by the China Tourism Academy on December 11.

Da Nang International Terminal (Terminal T2) is ranked Gold - the highest of the three Silk, Jade, Gold ranks of the Welcome Chinese certificate of China Tourism Academy, a research organization based in Beijing, established in 2008, under the China National Tourism Administration.
Da Nang International Terminal is the first in Southeast Asia to be granted the above certification.

There are 11 criteria that Da Nang International Terminal has met according to the Welcome Chinese certification. First, the signs inside and outside the terminal are written in Chinese, in addition to Vietnamese, English, and Korean.





Free hot water at food stalls is also a necessary criterion to welcome Chinese guests.

The final criterion is the display of flights arriving and departing in Chinese.
In the world, Italy has 4 airports; France, Russia, Spain, Saudi Arabia each have 1 airport with "Welcome Chinese" certificate.
"This certificate demonstrates that Da Nang International Terminal understands and fully meets the needs of Chinese tourists," helping to promote Da Nang as "a convenient and attractive destination for Chinese tourists," said a representative of Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT).

Recently, Da Nang International Terminal has added many items such as miniature green landscapes, stairs going up and down at the departure terminal, and decorating spaces to create highlights. As of October 31, Da Nang International Terminal has welcomed nearly 26,900 flights with more than 4 million arrivals and departures.

The station installed a series of wireless charging stations, charging sockets are also arranged at many pillars and food and beverage stalls to serve tourists.
The station also invested in other items such as building two separate smoking rooms, improving restroom identification, and marking lines in the baggage claim area to ensure neatness and order.

Since December 2022, Da Nang International Terminal has organized the "Heritage Road" program, performing traditional cultural arts to diversify the pre-flight experience and bring new, emotional moments to visitors. Each performance will last 30 minutes from 10:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., from Thursday to Sunday.

In March, Da Nang International Airport Terminal became the first and only terminal in Vietnam to be rated 4 stars by SkyTrax, the world's airline and airport rating organization.
