According to the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), the construction of Terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat Airport has entered the final stage and is being completed on schedule.
To ensure progress, the T3 Terminal construction site has mobilized more than 2,500 workers and engineers, hundreds of machines and equipment to work day and night, in 3 shifts, making maximum efforts to put the T3 Passenger Terminal into operation as planned.
With the goal of becoming one of the most modern and friendly terminals in the region, Terminal T3 is expected to contribute to improving service quality and affirming the position of Vietnamese aviation on the international map.

Also according to ACV, it is expected that from April 17, flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Van Don will be transferred to Terminal T3. By the end of April, all domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines will officially transfer to Terminal T3, except for flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Con Dao, Ca Mau , and Rach Gia, which will continue to operate at Terminal T1.
Currently, the entrance to Terminal T3 is located on 18E and C2 Street, Ward 12, Tan Binh District.
At Terminal T3, Vietnam Airlines check-in counters are located on the 3rd floor. Electronic boards and signs will help passengers move quickly and conveniently.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport has also reviewed and developed a plan to separate and regulate traffic to ensure connection with Terminal T3, while increasing trips on bus routes 152, 103, 109, 721 and bus routes connecting to Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
The modern T3 terminal with a synchronous system of roads and overpasses will serve nearly 80% of domestic flights to and from this airport, helping to relieve passengers and reduce pressure on Tan Son Nhat International Airport. It is expected that T3 terminal will be officially put into operation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
