
The program was attended by leaders of the Army Literature Magazine, the Departmentof Education and Training of Lao Cai city, Lao Cai artists and writers; teachers from schools in the city, parents and more than 700 students of Le Quy Don Secondary School.


During the exchange program with students, poet Tran Dang Khoa shared about the role of books in his creative career, as well as his own experiences in learning, exploiting, and using the language of great writers, poets, and folk literature treasures through reading books and newspapers to compose many good and famous poems. The benefits of researching and reading books for real life, especially the role of books in nurturing the beauty of the human soul.

In particular, in the current era of digital technology explosion, the emergence of media, social networks and electronic information platforms has strongly impacted the reading habits of many people, including students. The poet has provided evidence to spread the love for printed books as well as e-books; how to choose books to read, thereby recognizing the core values of reading in the digital age.




At the meeting and exchange with poet Tran Dang Khoa, students asked many questions to better understand the poet's childhood, love of literature as well as his creative emotions.
The conversation took place openly and intimately with meaningful stories about childhood memories and good poems by poet Tran Dang Khoa. Thereby, inspiring students to create literature and poetry, helping them raise awareness about the importance of reading as well as appreciating, preserving and protecting books.
