Sharing at the donation ceremony, Mr. Dang Thanh Hai, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Education Publishing House, said that the timely donation of textbooks to students in disaster-affected areas is an urgent task, contributing to helping them quickly return to normal learning rhythm, reducing the burden on families and schools in difficult times.

Mr. Le Dinh Thuan, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, said that recently, Khanh Hoa Education sector in particular and the 5 South Central provinces in general have been severely affected by the historic flood. The Department of Education and Training expressed its gratitude to the Vietnam Education Publishing House for accompanying the Khanh Hoa Education and Training sector to overcome the crisis in a meaningful and deeply humane way.

Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training Le Dinh Thuan also mentioned the current situation of the education sector. Floods have devastated school facilities, many families of students returned empty-handed, and many documents and books have been damaged. The problem for the sector is how to have desks, chairs, and textbooks. Regarding desks and chairs, Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training has been active in cleaning, repairing fences, desks, chairs, tools, equipment, etc. Textbooks have been supported by the Vietnam Education Publishing House.

"On the morning of December 1, 100% of Khanh Hoa educational institutions opened their doors to welcome students back to school. The good news is that teachers and students all returned to school safely. During the general cleaning of educational institutions, we closely coordinated with the police, military, militia, and schools to help the school, parents, and teachers of the school strive to overcome the reality of the recent flood. So far, it has been completed well," said Mr. Le Dinh Thuan.

With a sense of social responsibility and special concern for the young generation, Vietnam Education Publishing House has implemented many programs to support students across the country over the years. The books awarded this time not only have material value but are also a great source of spiritual encouragement, adding confidence for students to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.

The book donation program in Khanh Hoa once again demonstrates the humanistic tradition and spirit of "mutual love" of the Vietnam Education Publishing House during 68 years of establishment and development, contributing to spreading good values and the spirit of sharing in the community.
