Of the more than 700 songs that left a deep mark on Vietnam's musical life, musician Pham Tuyen dedicated more than 200 to children. Songs such as "Chiec den ong sao", "Canh an tuoi tho", "Tien len doan vien" ... have become part of the memories of many generations. He also has a special "treasure": 41 ancient nursery rhymes that he set to music, containing the soulful and intimate beauty of the natural landscape, people, and Vietnamese folk culture. For the first time, after many years of lying dormant in a music book, this "treasure" has been introduced through the book project "Khuc dong nhi cua be" (Nursery Songs of Children) narrated by his daughter - journalist Pham Hong Tuyen.

“The Children’s Nursery Rhymes” is a series of 5 books, of which “Back to the Hometown - The Children’s Nursery Rhymes” is the first volume to be published. Of the 41 nursery rhymes published under this project, only 5 songs: “Rềnh rềnh rang reo”, “bà họng đi cho”, “Ganh ganh gong gong”, “Bầu và Bí”, “Con chim chich choe” have been recorded. The remaining 36 songs, including many familiar nursery rhymes such as “Mau mau tinh thuy”, “Thương con ba ba”, “Cai co di don con mua”, “Cai bong”… are being recorded for the first time.

“Back to the Countryside - Children's Nursery Rhyme” by Pham Tuyen - Pham Hong Tuyen is a multimedia book, combining storytelling, music, illustrations and QR codes to listen to music and stories - creating a seamless experience for young children.

Musician Pham Tuyen (born in 1930) is one of the great names in modern Vietnamese music. In his massive composing career spanning more than half a century, he has left a deep mark in many genres, especially prominent with songs for children. With a pure, memorable musical style, close to the lives and souls of children, his songs such as "Chiec den ong sao", "Canh an tuoi tho", "Truong toi la truong non", "Chu voi con o ban Don", "Tien len doan vien" ... have become classic children's songs of Vietnamese music, living forever in the memories of many generations of Vietnamese children.

“In the area of composing for children, it can be said that musicians have created many very good songs. Pham Tuyen closely followed the growth of children through music. He cherished them from the time they were in their mother's arms, until they went to nursery school, kindergarten, first grade, joined the team, gradually growing up, until they said goodbye to the age of red scarves to "Go forward to the Youth Union"... It can be said that it is a "musical dictionary" of all situations, all levels of emotions in the children's spiritual world ", poet Tran Dang Khoa emphasized.
