Multiplying love for the cultural heritage of Ao Dai

With the meaning of preserving, connecting and spreading the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese Ao Dai, the Steering Committee of the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association was established through Decision No. 196/QD-BVHTTDL of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association's Steering Committee includes members of the Women's Club with Vietnamese Cultural Heritage, the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club, the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund, cultural experts and researchers, etc. The Steering Committee consists of 10 members, with Ms. Khuc Thi Dau as Head of the Committee and Ms. Hoang Thi Ngoc Mai as Deputy Head of the Committee.

At the event, Dr. Dang Thi Bich Lien, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Women with Cultural Heritage Club, Honorary President of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club emphasized that when mentioning Vietnamese women, we cannot fail to mention the Ao Dai - a symbol of elegant, gentle, graceful beauty but also full of pride, strength and nobility.

The launching event of the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association's Steering Committee was attended by many delegates.

The Ao Dai not only honors the grace and elegance of women but also represents the soul and quintessence of Vietnamese culture. Wearing the Ao Dai is not simply a choice of clothing but also shows love and respect for traditional culture.

“The establishment of the Steering Committee of the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association is meaningful in contributing to honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women, continuing to connect and promote the traditional Ao Dai culture; at the same time, carrying out activities to preserve and promote the value of Ao Dai heritage,” emphasized Dr. Dang Thi Bich Lien.
