For the southernmost province of the country, Resolution 71 is considered an important opportunity to break through, promote potential, narrow the gap and prepare high-quality human resources for the new transition period.
The seminar was attended by comrades: Nguyen Ho Hai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Lu Quang Ngoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; experts and scientists from the Regional Political Academy II and many universities inside and outside the province; together with representatives of departments, branches, educational institutions and a team of veteran teachers, excellent teachers , and People's Teachers.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan suggested 7 major groups of issues that require dedicated contributions and advice from experts and scientists.
In his opening speech, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan emphasized that the Dialogue is an opportunity to listen to opinions from experts, managers, and generations of teachers in correctly assessing the current state of local education; pointing out limitations and bottlenecks; determining goals and breakthrough solutions to improve the quality of comprehensive education. From preschool education, general education, vocational education to university education, all must be considered within a strategic vision in the spirit of Resolution 71.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Luan also suggested 7 key groups of issues for Ca Mau to implement Resolution 71, including: raising awareness and renewing thinking; building a team of teachers and managers; investing in minimum facilities and equipment; promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, applying IT and AI; innovating school management and the educational environment; developing vocational education and improving higher education; strengthening cooperation and linkages with universities and businesses and building specific mechanisms and policies for education and training development.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van De, former Principal of Dong Thap University, presented a paper on developing professional capacity for teachers in Ca Mau province to meet the requirements of innovation.
Based on these 7 suggested groups, the delegates focused on discussing many practical contents: innovating educational management thinking; improving the capacity of the teaching staff; applying science and technology in teaching and learning; perfecting mechanisms and policies for sustainable education development; removing bottlenecks in human resources and facilities; strengthening the connection between schools and businesses; and stimulating creativity in students. The enthusiastic opinions are expected to help the locality define a roadmap, create strong and synchronous changes, and develop Ca Mau education in a modern, high-quality manner, in line with the 2-level local government model.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded 12 gifts (VND 3 million/gift) to teachers in difficult circumstances and 50 scholarships (VND 1 million/gift) to students who overcame difficulties and studied well.
Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Anh Huy, Principal of Can Tho University of Education, gave a speech on: "Building a team of teachers to meet the requirements of digital transformation to make a breakthrough in the development of education and training in Ca Mau".
Dr. Nguyen Nhu Khoa, Director of Digital Transformation Consulting, Director of AI Division - FPT Digital, brought to the Discussion a very important perspective from the unit leading digital transformation and artificial intelligence solutions in Vietnam.
Comrade Lu Quang Ngoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (5th person, left) and Comrade Nguyen Minh Luan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented flowers to the speakers and experts.
