Many exciting activities are included in the "Discover Japan" program in Hanoi.

The main activities in the event series include: a video presentation introducing NHK World-Japan Television; interactive games; and free giveaways of the textbook "Learning Japanese Together."

With the aim of promoting the image of Japan, NHK World-Japan will organize many interesting activities in Hanoi such as giving away free Japanese language textbooks, making New Year's badges together, trying on kimonos with AR (augmented reality) technology, etc.

Accordingly, from today until January 23rd, NHK Television is organizing the event " Explore Japan with NHK World-Japan" at Aeon Mall Ha Dong (Hanoi).

According to Kuriki Seiichi, a representative of NHK World-Japan, this is the station's first overseas promotional event since the COVID-19 pandemic.

For NHK World-Japan, Asian countries like Vietnam are extremely important markets, which is why the organization chose Vietnam as the location to reopen its overseas marketing event.

Through this program, NHK also aims to introduce its Vietnamese language service and other foreign affairs services to a wider audience in Vietnam, while simultaneously promoting friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan.

The main activities in the event series include: a video presentation introducing NHK World-Japan; and interactive games. In particular, attendees will also receive the "Learning Japanese Together" textbook, along with many other attractive and interesting activities.

Mr. Kuriki Seiichi stated: "Through this event, we can understand what issues Vietnamese audiences care about, and from there we can improve the quality of international programs to better suit the real interests and needs of the audience."

NHK (Nippon Hoso Kyokai) is the first and only public broadcasting company in Japan. Founded on New Year's Day 1926, NHK was modeled after the BBC in the UK through the merger of Tokyo Broadcasting Station and the broadcasting stations of Nagoya and Osaka.

NHK currently operates four domestic television channels and three domestic radio channels. NHK World Japan, an international broadcasting station, conducts international broadcasting to provide domestic and international information to the world, showcasing Japanese culture and lifestyle, and fostering friendship and cultural exchange.
