Many wards in Ho Chi Minh City mobilized to restore urban order.

On August 2, Vung Tau ward and Phuoc Thang ward (HCMC) organized a launching ceremony to ensure urban order, urban beauty and environmental sanitation.

The launching ceremony attracted a large number of cadres, workers, residents of the neighborhoods, armed forces units, businesses, students in the two wards.

In the morning of the campaign, many tourist- heavy streets in Vung Tau ward such as Hai Dang, Viba, Hoang Hoa Tham, Thuy Van, Le Hong Phong, Ha Long, Bai Sau park square... were cleaned, the situation of encroachment on the road and sidewalk for business and trading, causing traffic safety and urban beauty problems, and the removal of illegal advertising signs.

The functional forces of Vung Tau ward have also coordinated with telecommunications and electricity units to collect and replace damaged and unusable cable equipment, ensuring safety and urban beauty.

Mr. Bui Van Hy, Chairman of Vung Tau Ward People's Committee, along with the functional forces, reminded and handled a business household that encroached on the sidewalk on Thuy Van Street.

Meanwhile, in Phuoc Thang ward, the authorities focused on carrying out the following activities: cleaning up streets, alleys, residential areas, headquarters of agencies and units; cleaning up black spots of waste, clearing sewers and drainage ditches; beautifying the environment; raising awareness among people about maintaining public hygiene. At the same time, mobilizing production and business households along the roads to conduct business in an orderly manner, ensuring urban order.
