At 10:30 a.m. on January 7, Thanh Nien Newspaper organized an online television consultation program "Choosing a future major: Information technology and technology industries". The program took place simultaneously on the channels: thanhnien.vn , Facebook Fanpage, YouTube channel, TikTok Thanh Nien Newspaper.

Choosing a suitable major is the desire of all students after completing the general education program. Therefore, to help students have more information in choosing their future major, from today, Thanh Nien Newspaper's online television consulting program will delve into each specific field of study. In the series of 7 main training fields at university level, information technology and technology industries currently have many training majors in schools today.

In Vietnam, the semiconductor industry and core digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, big data, etc. are being strongly developed by the Government. Many leading technology corporations in the world have plans to develop research centers, expand investment, business, and production in Vietnam, including the world's number 1 technology corporation NVIDIA. In that context, what are the opportunities for those studying information technology and technology industries?

In the consulting program, experts will provide forecast information on human resource needs and development trends in this field, especially the "hot" fields today. Along with information on the actual training process, the program provides orientation information to help answer the question of which learners are suitable for this field.

Phase 3 (from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.) includes experts:

  • Dr. Le Viet Tuan , Head of Artificial Intelligence Department, Faculty of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City Open University
  • Dr. Nguyen Van Kha , Deputy Director of Admissions and Communications Center, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade
