TPO - The Traffic Safety Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Management Board of Urban Railways of Ho Chi Minh City (MAUR) have just released a Handbook for using urban railway line No. 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien). In it, the authorities have suggested many places to visit and travel along the stations of the line.

In it, the authorities have suggested many places to visit and travel along the stations of the line.

According to plan, from 10am tomorrow (December 22), 14 stations of metro line 1 in Ho Chi Minh City (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) will simultaneously open to welcome passengers.

The Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Safety Committee in collaboration with the City Urban Railway Management Board (MAUR) has issued a Handbook to help people conveniently use the city's first urban railway line.

Famous places to know

Ho Chi Minh City Metro Line 1 has 14 stations from Ben Thanh Central Underground Station (District 1) to Suoi Tien Bus Station (Thu Duc City), the route is 19.7km. Along the stations, there are famous places suggested for people and tourists to conveniently visit and experience.

Accordingly, from Ben Thanh station, people can go to the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts with a journey of only 450m; to Ben Thanh market about 350m; to September 23 Park about 500m; in addition, to Tao Dan Park and Thong Nhat Hall only takes 1km.

City Theater Station is only 220m from Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; 300m from Nguyen Hue Walking Street; about 550m from City Post Office , Notre Dame Cathedral; 650m from Ben Thanh Market; 700m from Bach Dang Wharf and 700m from Nguyen Van Binh Book Street.

From Ba Son Station, people can go to Ton Duc Thang Museum and Vietnam Geological Museum with a distance of about 550m. In addition, people can go to Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden with a distance of 900m and to Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Vietnamese History with a distance of 1.1km.

From Tan Cang station (station near Saigon bridge) in Binh Thanh district, people can go to Landmark 81 building and Van Thanh tourist area with a journey of 1.2km and to Tan Cang tourist area with about 700m.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Safety Committee and the City Urban Railway Management Board have also suggested famous locations around elevated stations in Thu Duc City such as: Thao Dien Station, An Phu Station, An Phu Station, Rach Chiec Station, Binh Thai Station, Thu Duc Station, Suoi Tien Bus Station, etc.
