Exciting "water battle" of National Championship Motorcycle Racing

TPO - On the afternoon of November 2, at Tra Vinh Stadium, Vinh Long Province, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long coordinated with the Vietnam Bicycle - Motor Sports Federation to organize the 1st National Motorcycle Championship Cup in 2025 - Stage 4.

The tournament gathered 8 participating units including Can Tho, An Giang , Vinh Long, Ho Chi Minh City, Ca Mau, Tay Ninh, Da Nang and Lam Dong, with 65 athletes representing 40 clubs competing in 3 categories including: YAZ 125cc; Sport 120cc and Four-stroke 150cc.

Mr. Cao Quoc Dung - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long said that this is an opportunity for racers to show their bravery, skills and passion for speed. The tournament also contributes to promoting the image of people, culture and tourism of Vinh Long to friends nationwide and internationally.

The race became more 'fierce' right from the qualifying round when there were rains.

The race turned into a "water battle" at Tra Vinh Stadium.

Riders compete in qualifying rounds, round 2, semi-finals and finals.

In the final round, the amateur category of the 2-stroke Suzuki Sport 120cc has 4 athletes competing over 8 laps; the professional category of the 4-stroke Exiter 150cc has 4 athletes competing over 10 laps; the professional category of the 2-stroke Yaz 125cc has 4 athletes competing over 10 laps.

As a result, athlete Nguyen Anh Tuan (Phu Quoc) won the Yaz 125cc category; Nguyen Hoang Tien (Can Tho) won the Exiter 150cc category; Dao Hong Trung (Phu Quoc) won the Suzuki Sport 120cc category.
