On December 12, the Da Nang Labor Federation announced that it had planned to organize activities to care for union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

The Federation will organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" with many activities such as the 2025 Trade Union Tet Market scheduled for January 9, 2025, giving gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

The fair will distribute 40,000 shopping vouchers (each worth 100,000 VND) to union members and workers in the city.

In addition, 20,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, having had work accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses, affected by natural disasters, storms and floods, losing their jobs, or having their working hours reduced... will each receive support of 1 million VND.

The Union Tet Journey program continues to be implemented, expected to support 2,000 train and bus tickets and organize free buses to take union members and workers home to celebrate Tet with their families.

In addition, 1,000 workers who did not return home for Tet were also visited and given gifts by the union; 300 grassroots union officials were met and encouraged; and workers working on New Year's Eve were visited...

At the same time, grassroots trade unions, depending on their conditions and capabilities, organize the Trade Union Tet Market program, focusing on providing essential, quality goods at preferential prices; increasing the socialization of resources, mobilizing organizations and businesses to accompany trade unions in carrying out activities to care for workers during Tet.

Trade unions at all levels proactively participate with competent authorities to grasp the situation, inspect and supervise the payment of salaries and bonuses to employees during Tet; promptly detect and have solutions to ensure the rights of union members and employees in enterprises facing difficulties, unpaid salaries, unable to pay salaries and bonuses, owners who have absconded or temporarily suspended operations, dissolved or gone bankrupt.
