Diver 'shocked' when extremely venomous sea snake suddenly wrapped around his leg

A diver while exploring the seabed experienced a heart-stopping moment when a sea snake suddenly swam close and wrapped tightly around his leg.

Despite the dangerous situation, the diver remained calm and did not do anything to agitate the animal. Fortunately, after a short while, the snake let go and swam away without causing any injuries.

The animal in the video was identified as a Belcher's sea snake - one of the most venomous snakes in the world . However, this snake is quite docile and usually only attacks humans if provoked or cornered.

According to experts, most Belcher snake bites occur when fishermen accidentally pull them up in fishing nets. Trapped and panicked, the snake may react defensively by attacking.

Stunned by the speed of the falcon's attack when attacking a wild duck

A video recorded in the outskirts of Alberta, Canada, captured the shocking moment: a resting mallard suddenly rolled to the ground, writhing in pain and completely unconscious. Immediately after, the culprit – a falcon – appeared to “enjoy” its prey.

It was only when watching the video in slow motion that many people realized that the unfortunate mallard had been attacked by a dive so fast that it had no time to react.

The predator in this situation is the prairie falcon – a species of the genus Falco , family Falconidae , distributed mainly in North America. They possess long, thin, pointed wings, allowing them to make dives from great heights at extremely high speeds.

This bird often flies at high altitudes to observe, taking advantage of its superior eyesight to detect prey from a distance. When detecting a target, the falcon begins to swoop down and accelerate in a precise trajectory. According to experts, their attack can reach a speed of more than 100 km/h, enough to knock down prey in a split second.

Clumsy male lion misses prey

The clip was recorded by a tourist during a visit to Kruger Nature Reserve, South Africa, showing the moment a female lion accelerated to chase an antelope. Upon witnessing this, a male lion nearby also rushed to help.

However, instead of aiming at the prey, the male lion suddenly charged straight at the female lion when she was about to catch the antelope. The male lion's clumsy hunting performance caused the hunt to fail as the prey took the opportunity to quickly escape.

Extremely venomous cobra hiding in taxi engine compartment

A taxi driver in Pune, India, while waiting for a passenger, saw a cobra stick its head out in front of the car, then disappear.

The man searched around but could not find the snake, so he called in a snake catcher for help.

The snake catcher searched inside the car’s engine compartment and saw the snake’s tail sticking out. Due to the tight and complicated design of the engine compartment, it took the snake catcher quite a while to get the snake out without being bitten.

The cobra was then released into the wild, in an area far from residential areas.

The snake involved was identified as an Indian cobra, a venomous snake that is common and responsible for the most human bites in the country.

The impressive appearance of the lettuce sea slug

The lettuce sea slug, Elysia crispata, is a large sea slug that resembles lettuce in color and shape. This is where the name comes from. It also resembles a clump of duckweed floating in the water.

The tightly coiled, coiled appendages are called lateral limbs. This slug feeds on algae and packs a large amount of chloroplasts into its body, making it look more like a plant than an animal.
