A large python suddenly fell from the ceiling of the living room of a family living in Taiping, Malaysia. The family members were so shocked when they saw the animal that they immediately ran outside and called the rescue team for help.

Seven rescue workers were called to the scene. They had a hard time restraining the large python, which struggled to resist capture.

The python was later determined to be 5.5m long and weighed up to 80kg. The animal was released by rescuers in a location far away from human habitation.
