Associate Professor, Dr. Le Anh Tuan, Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, assessed that this is a recognition and high appreciation from the leadership of the Kazakhstan National University of Music as well as from the music community of the former Soviet Union for Meritorious Artist Bui Cong Duy for his persistent, effective dedication and great contributions to art in general, to music in particular and especially to stringed instrument performance.
“The Vietnam National Academy of Music is very honored to have a representative, Meritorious Artist Bui Cong Duy, awarded the title of Professor by the Kazakhstan National University of Music. In the field of art in general, and music in particular, there are not many Vietnamese people who are honored and awarded the title of Professor at prestigious universities around the world . Since People's Artist Dang Thai Son was awarded the title of Professor at famous conservatories around the world, perhaps Bui Cong Duy's case can be considered special, a rare case,” Associate Professor, Dr. Le Anh Tuan commented.
The Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music added that the string performance school, specifically the violin performance school of the former Soviet Union and today's Russia, has trained many talented violinists not only for Russia but for the whole world. Bui Cong Duy is very fortunate to be trained in the top professional environment of Russia. He shines and is known by friends and colleagues in the violin performance community, who always respect and admire him. In addition to Duy's international performances, he also participates in training young talents in the violin performance industry and has achieved many successes.
Sharing right after the appointment ceremony, Meritorious Artist Bui Cong Duy said that becoming a professor at Kazakhstan National University of Fine Arts has been his long-standing wish.

The work in the near future will be closely related to specialized work, this is a very good opportunity for me to gain more knowledge and experience working with international students.
