In her opening speech, Chairwoman of the Da Nang City Women Entrepreneurs Association Le Thi Nam Phuong said that 15 years ago, the association was formed with the motto "Solidarity - Cooperation - Development", as a common home for women doing business . The association has become a fulcrum, a place to realize the aspiration to affirm the role and position of women on the economic front.
The association's member enterprises contribute to creating jobs for tens of thousands of workers, especially female workers; contribute significantly to the city budget and build an increasingly strong female business community. The association has become one of the typical professional associations operating effectively in Da Nang.
In the country's strong innovation flow, especially with the implementation of Politburo resolutions such as Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on scientific and technological breakthroughs, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development, will be strategic milestones.
This has opened up new opportunities for the Vietnamese economy in general and Da Nang city in particular. This is also the time when the spirit of dedication, the desire for innovation and the adaptability of female entrepreneurs are more strongly aroused than ever.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet congratulated the 15 years of establishment and development; a journey full of efforts, aspirations and proud marks. The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Da Nang City has continuously grown, becoming a solid common home for female entrepreneurs, brave, intelligent and resilient women in the business world.
Over the years, the community of female entrepreneurs in Da Nang has promoted its pioneering role, actively contributing to the city’s socio-economic development. The Da Nang Association of Women Entrepreneurs has affirmed its important role in gathering, connecting and supporting women-owned businesses.
The Association actively participates in charity activities, supports the community, and demonstrates a high sense of social responsibility. The city leaders respectfully acknowledge and commend the efforts and achievements of the Association in recent times.
However, female entrepreneurs are still facing many difficulties in accessing capital as well as increasingly fierce competition in the market. Therefore, in order for the Danang Association of Women Entrepreneurs to develop more strongly, the Chairman of the City People's Committee proposed that the Executive Committee for the next term focus on 5 tasks.
Firstly, building a close network of connections between female entrepreneurs and management agencies, industry associations, and financial institutions to access information, resources, and markets. Secondly, training and improving management capacity, applying digital technology in production and business, towards a green and sustainable business model.
Third, promote start-ups and creative start-ups for young women, encourage the application of science and technology and innovation. Fourth, promote the social responsibility of female entrepreneurs through vocational training programs for female workers, support disadvantaged women, and contribute to the implementation of the city's social security goals.
Fifth, strengthen policy dialogue, promptly reflect members' thoughts and aspirations to all levels and sectors to propose amendments and supplements to mechanisms and policies to support women-owned businesses.
The City People's Committee pledges to continue to accompany and facilitate the activities of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs. The City is ready to support administrative procedures, capacity building training, trade promotion connections and cooperation exchanges with localities and domestic and international organizations.
On this occasion, the Da Nang Women Entrepreneurs Association received the emulation flag from the Government, as an excellent unit in the emulation movement in 2024. Two collectives belonging to the Emulation Cluster of the Da Nang Women Entrepreneurs Association received the emulation flag from the City People's Committee.
In addition, collectives and individuals of the association with achievements in the 2020-2025 term and 2024 were awarded certificates of merit from the Central and the city. Specifically: 12 individuals received certificates of merit from the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); 4 collectives and 3 individuals received certificates of merit from the City People's Committee; 6 certificates of merit from the City Women's Union.
Reporting at the congress, term 2020-2025, with the theme "Connecting - Sharing - Accompanying - Developing", the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Da Nang city admitted more than 90 new members, exceeding the target set for the term; at the same time, improving the quality of member activities through a variety of in-depth connection and companionship activities.
The Association always aims to not only improve the business capacity of its members, but also foster the style, position and leadership role of women in the context of integration, digital transformation and sustainable development, contributing billions of VND to social security work...
For the 2025-2030 term, with the theme "Humanity - Perseverance - Adaptation", the association sets out the following directions and tasks: developing the organization, expanding the membership network; promoting trade connections, trade promotion, business cooperation and international integration; supporting women in starting businesses and connecting the community of female entrepreneurs; promoting the representative role, participating in building criticism and policies to support businesses in general and women's businesses in particular...
The congress launched the Executive Committee of the Danang City Association of Women Entrepreneurs for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 29 members. Ms. Le Thi Nam Phuong, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of LIFE Investment Joint Stock Company, continues to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Danang City Association of Women Entrepreneurs.
