"This is the first time Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club has participated in such a wonderful tournament, and we are happy to be here. We hope to improve our fighting spirit and organization so that the team can play their best against Wuhan Jiangda," said coach Lu Dinh Tuan of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club.
In the semi-final match, Coach Lu Dinh Tuan replaced Coach Nguyen Hong Pham as head coach. Mr. Tuan said that the HCMC women's team had the best preparation, aiming for victory in the semi-final match against Wuhan Jiangda.

"Wuhan Jiangda has a team of foreign players and quality Chinese players, so they set very high goals. But Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club is also very confident. We hope to have the best result against Wuhan Jiangda."
Meanwhile, striker Huynh Nhu assessed the match: "Wuhan Jiangda is very strong, but the result will be known only after the match ends. We played both the group stage and the quarter-finals at home, so we know the advantage when Wuhan Jiangda Club is supported by fans. Therefore, I think the biggest challenge now is the team's spirit.

Having reached the semi-finals, the team that takes advantage of the opportunity better will win. We will try our best and hope that Vietnamese fans will support us, helping Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club write a historic journey."
The match Wuhan Jiangda vs Ho Chi Minh City women's team will kick off at 3:00 p.m. on May 21 in Wuhan (China).
