Nghe An has a coastline of tens of kilometers long with a series of river branches and connecting estuaries, which is considered an outstanding advantage for developing the aquaculture industry.
However, due to limited State resources, inadequate infrastructure in farming areas, combined with numerous potential risks due to serious water pollution, a series of consequences have occurred during the implementation process, especially in shrimp farming.
To stay in the profession, many subjects have taken the trouble to learn and determined to switch to high-tech shrimp farming. Although this method is much more expensive, the superior economic efficiency can completely compensate. In the long term, this is a promising choice to replace the traditional, outdated method.
One of the highlights is the Hoa Phat high-tech shrimp farming model of Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa in Xuan Chau hamlet, Hai Chau commune with a scale of more than 1.2 hectares. Determining to take product quality as a measure, the model applies a strict process, each stage is strictly monitored by a team of highly skilled technicians, thereby promptly handling and rescuing when necessary.
Mr. Bui Thai Giang, Technician of Hoa Phat shrimp farming model, shared: "Our facility applies high-tech processes, biosafety measures are all implemented in a closed system, ensuring standards from A to Z. The process of caring for and raising shrimp is strictly monitored and managed. The facility prioritizes the use of biological products and the application of nano-aeration technology as the main technology.
This method increases the oxygen content and significantly improves the living environment of shrimp. Nano gas not only helps farmed shrimp grow quickly but also inhibits the development of harmful bacteria, which means minimizing the risk of disease. When everything is under control, the results come naturally."

As a pioneer in applying science and technology to shrimp farming in Nghe An, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa understands better than anyone the intertwined challenges and opportunities. With an excited expression on his face, the owner of the Hoa Phat shrimp farming model affirmed:
"To achieve today's results, we have had to make efforts over a long period of time. I remember the early days of immense pressure, especially when the concept of high technology was still quite vague. Raising shrimp with technology is not something you can do if you want to. Before doing it, you have to consider many factors, from financial potential, market to feasibility. Up to now, it can be affirmed that this is the right choice, the model has brought outstanding efficiency to the unit.

Applying a technology platform helps us proactively manage water resources and control farming density. Using a nano-aeration system is the difference, this method has significantly shortened farming time compared to traditional methods, thereby significantly improving the productivity at the end of the season. Every year, Hoa Phat facility raises shrimp 3 times, each crop harvests 13-15 tons of shrimp, after deducting costs, the annual profit is estimated at about 2 billion VND.
In further discussion with the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa confidently emphasized: "From the existing foundation, we continue to promote and accelerate related steps to establish a high-tech shrimp farming cooperative with a much larger scale and method. There is still a lot of potential and room for development, Hoa Phat is confident that it can grasp and sustainably build its existing brand."
