“English Window” season 2: 8th grade students impress with on-stage experiment

The program "English Window" episode 2, season 2 is an exciting competition between 2 teams: Albert Einstein Primary, Secondary and High School ( Ha Tinh City) and Hoa Lien Secondary School (Nghi Xuan), broadcast at 9:25 p.m. on April 13 on HTTV.

The highlight of episode 2 is the presentation of Tran Xuan Duc (class 8A4, Albert Einstein School). The male student surprised the audience when he combined live experiments on stage with a presentation about time management. By using the metaphor of “the jar and the stones”, Duc not only conveyed a profound message but also showed his creative thinking and outstanding presentation skills. This impressive performance by Tran Xuan Duc helped the Albert Einstein School team earn 28 points.

Previously, Ngo Thi Bao Ngoc (Hua Lien Secondary School) also scored points with her English presentation on balancing study and play. Bao Ngoc advised students to divide their time between study, play and rest. In addition, they should prioritize activities and make a to-do list. Important tasks should be done before spending time on entertainment.

In addition, Bao Ngoc believes that instead of wasting time on unnecessary activities, students can use short breaks to relax and exercise. Avoid distractions such as phones while studying to help improve concentration and learning efficiency. Finally, according to the female student, getting enough sleep and exercising are necessary. With practical advice and a clear presentation, the 7th grader brought home 27 points for her team.

The “Quick Eyes” contest opened the show with 10 questions, requiring contestants to arrange jumbled letters into a complete, meaningful English word. Both teams successfully answered 9/10 questions correctly. Albert Einstein’s team took the lead with 6 correct answers, earning 30 points, while Hoa Lien followed closely with 3 correct answers - 15 points.

In the final round “Quick hands”, teams will flip open 6 parts of a picture corresponding to 6 questions.

In this round, the Albert Einstein Primary, Secondary and High School team continued to maintain their leading position when they answered 3/6 questions correctly, earning an additional 30 points; the Hoa Lien Secondary School team answered 2 questions correctly, earning an additional 20 points. However, both teams were unable to solve the mysterious crossword puzzle related to the name change of Ho Chi Minh City (1976).

With a final score of 88 points, the Albert Einstein School team officially won a ticket to the quarter-finals of "English Window" season 2.
