'Hot' feature from Galaxy S25 is now available on Galaxy S24 with One UI 7
The most notable highlight in this beta is the appearance of the Galaxy LOG video recording feature, which is only available on the recently launched Galaxy S25 series. With LOG, Galaxy S24 and S24+ users can now record videos with a wider color gamut, opening up more professional editing and post-production capabilities. Previously, this feature was updated for the Ultra version in beta 4.
In addition to the LOG video recording feature, this One UI 7 beta update also focuses on fixing existing bugs and upgrading security. Bugs related to display, lock screen notifications, widgets, fonts, Quick Action menu, gallery app, and notification history have all been fixed. The security patch has also been upgraded to March 2025.
With a significant number of bug fixes and an expected April launch, many are predicting that this could be the final One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy S24. However, if serious issues arise, Samsung may release another beta before releasing the official version.
If you're in the One UI 7 beta program on your Galaxy S24, you can update now by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
