ChatGPT Search is integrated into ChatGPT, allowing users to search for information and receive answers directly from the chatbot. This feature enhances the user's search experience and interaction with artificial intelligence (AI).
Currently, ChatGPT Search is available to paid users of ChatGPT Plus, Teams, Enterprise, and Edu, but OpenAI confirmed that it will eventually make the feature available to everyone, including free users.
According to technology, entertainment, and science website BGR, some free users in the US can already use ChatGPT Search.
In addition to ChatGPT Search, OpenAI is also bringing an enhanced voice mode to the web version of ChatGPT, allowing users to chat with ChatGPT using voice in a more comfortable and natural way.
Advanced Voice Mode allows users to interact with ChatGPT using their voice in a more natural way, just like chatting with a real person. Users can interrupt, change questions, and adjust their answers based on what ChatGPT has just said.
The limitation for free users is that they can only use Advanced Voice Mode for 15 minutes per month. For unlimited use, users need to upgrade to the ChatGPT Plus plan.
It can be seen that OpenAI is accelerating the progress of improving ChatGPT's features in the face of competition from rivals. Previously, Google announced the memory capability for Gemini Advanced. This is an upgraded version of Google's most powerful AI model, developed on the basis of Gemini - a general-purpose AI ecosystem with the ability to process multimedia, including text, images, audio, video and programming code.
