OpenAI Makes ChatGPT Search Free to Use

ChatGPT Search is currently available to paid users of ChatGPT Plus, Teams, Enterprise, and Edu, but OpenAI confirmed that it will eventually make the feature available to everyone, including free users.

Alongside ChatGPT Search, OpenAI is also bringing enhanced voice mode to the web version of ChatGPT, allowing users to chat with ChatGPT using voice in a more comfortable and natural way.

Advanced Voice Mode allows users to interact with ChatGPT using voice in a more natural way, just like chatting with a real person. Users can interrupt, change questions, and adjust answers based on what ChatGPT has just said.

Free users are limited to 15 minutes of Advanced Voice Mode per month. For unlimited use, users need to upgrade to the ChatGPT Plus plan.

It can be seen that OpenAI is accelerating the progress of improving ChatGPT's features in the face of competition from rivals. Previously, Google announced the memory capability for Gemini Advanced.
