This agreement focuses on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and advanced testing solutions to support the digital transformation process in Vietnam's education, especially the goal of organizing high school graduation exams on computers of the Ministry of Education and Training .
The signing ceremony took place solemnly in London (UK) under the witness of General Secretary To Lam, official members of the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation and British Government officials. This event marked an important milestone in the educational cooperation between the two countries.
Under the agreement, Pearson will transfer advanced testing solutions, apply AI in building test banks, automate test scoring and analyze in-depth data.
At the same time, the two sides will continue to expand the integrated education model, combining the program of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training with the international program framework of Pearson Edexcel, to improve foreign language proficiency and global integration skills for Vietnamese students.
This cooperation directly supports strategic policies in Vietnam's education and training such as Resolutions 57-NQ/TW and 71-NQ/TW on digital transformation in education, as well as Conclusion 91-KL/TW of the Politburo and Project 2371/QD-TTg recently approved by the Prime Minister on "Making English the second language in schools for the period 2025 - 2035, with a vision to 2045".
