On the morning of June 2, the Party Committee of Vietnam - Germany Technical College, Ha Tinh held the 8th Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Over the past 5 years, the Party Committee of the Vietnam-Germany Technical College of Ha Tinh has united, proactively overcome difficulties and challenges, and successfully implemented the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 8th Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. In particular, the Party Committee has always focused on political and ideological education, raising awareness of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought for cadres, party members and students; actively protecting the Party's ideological foundation. The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle, associated with the implementation of regulations on exemplary responsibility, has been widely deployed, creating a positive spread, with many typical collectives and individuals being commended.
The school continues to affirm its position as the leading school in the province in recruiting full-time vocational training, with training quality maintained and developed, meeting the demand for high-tech labor. During the term, the school recruited 5,558 students, an increase of 30% compared to the previous term. The rate of students having jobs after graduation reached over 95%. The teaching staff has been improved in both quantity and quality, with over 60% having PhDs and masters. Additional investment has been made in facilities and equipment, especially high-tech equipment with a total value of over 5 billion VND. Scientific research has made many practical contributions. Administrative reform and digital transformation have been promoted. Social security and humanitarian activities have been actively implemented with a mobilized amount of more than 200 million VND.
The Party Committee has successfully completed the set goals, especially the consolidation of the organizational structure, streamlining the payroll (100% of the budget payroll to autonomy) and building a roadmap to achieve high-quality school standards, completing the accreditation of vocational education institutions and 4 training programs, and receiving the transfer of 3 programs according to German standards.
The Party Congress of the Vietnam - Germany Technical College of Ha Tinh for the 2025 - 2030 term is of great significance; with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Quality - Efficiency" and the theme "Inheriting and promoting achievements, strengthening solidarity, innovation, building the Vietnam - Germany Technical College of Ha Tinh into a "high-quality vocational school"; training human resources to meet digital transformation, green transformation, equitable transformation and international integration; contributing to realizing the aspiration for national development in the "Era of the Vietnamese nation's rise".
The congress demonstrates the will, determination and aspiration of the lecturers, party members, officials and employees of the Vietnam-Germany Technical College of Ha Tinh, together with the province and the country, to enter a new era, an era of the Vietnamese nation's rise. In particular, the Party Committee identifies the task for the next term as strengthening the leadership capacity of the Party Committee, streamlining the apparatus, and the effectiveness and efficiency of the board of directors. Continuing to comprehensively innovate, improve the quality and efficiency of the school's operations towards modernization, integration and sustainable development.
Develop a reasonable training scale, focusing on quality; expand occupations in line with economic development orientation, especially in the fields of industry, services, high-tech agriculture and digital economy. Proactively integrate internationally, expand cooperation with foreign enterprises and partners in training, research and technology transfer. Effectively implement the school construction project at the new facility. Strive to meet the criteria for vocational education quality assessment, towards being recognized as a high-quality vocational school; affirm prestige and position in the group of leading vocational education institutions in the country.
At the congress, delegates also focused on clarifying some of the achievements of the 2020-2025 term; contributing ideas on targets and proposing solutions to implement goals and tasks for the coming term.
At the congress, delegates elected 9 comrades to the Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term. The new Party Executive Committee also held its first meeting and elected comrade Cao Xuan Phu - Vice Principal, Chairman of the School's Trade Union as Party Secretary for the 2025-2030 term.
Some main targets of the Party Committee of Vietnam - Germany Technical College, Ha Tinh, term 2025 - 2030:
Strive for 100% of cadres, party members, civil servants and workers to study and fully understand the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; 100% of party members, civil servants and lecturers to be exemplary in implementing professional ethics, public ethics and exemplary responsibility. Strive to admit 15-20 new party members, of which 30-40% are excellent students.
Maintain the training scale of 3,000 full-time college and intermediate students, of which 70% study at school with good quality; strive to enroll 1,500 - 2,000 full-time students (converted)/year; of which strive to enroll 350 college students/year; 5,000-6,000 short-term training targets;
90% of students graduate on time. 70% of students graduate with good or excellent grades; over 95% of students have jobs within 6 months of graduation, of which 70% work in their field...
