Launching the Photo Contest "Da Nang People - Diligent, thrifty, honest, upright, impartial"

The Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Da Nang City has launched the Artistic News Photo Contest "Da Nang People - Diligent, thrifty, honest, upright, impartial and selfless"

The contest aims to promote and spread the good traditional moral values ​​of Da Nang people in studying, working, producing, building and defending the Fatherland, contributingto educating and encouraging an honest, simple and responsible lifestyle.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Nho Khiem, Chairman of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Da Nang, presented the values ​​of diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality in Ho Chi Minh's thought to the delegates attending the launching ceremony of the contest.

The Chairman of the Danang Union of Literature and Arts Associations believes that the contest will arouse and spread the noble moral values ​​of the ideology of "Diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality and selflessness" in community life, especially through the perspective of photography art.

Accordingly, the contestants are Vietnamese citizens living, working and studying in Da Nang. Each author can submit up to 5 works (including single photos and photo series).

The Organizing Committee will accept entries from May 19, 2025 to August 9, 2025. Accordingly, the competition will consist of two preliminary and final rounds.

The award structure includes: 1 First Prize worth 10,000,000 VND; 2 Second Prizes worth 8,000,000 VND/prize; 3 Third Prizes worth 6,000,000 VND/prize; 5 Encouragement Prizes worth 2,000,000 VND/prize and 50 outstanding works selected for online exhibition (with certificate, no royalties).

1. Content - requirements of the work:

- Photos reflect real people and real events about practicing "diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality", fighting corruption, waste and negativity in Da Nang.

- Single photo or photo set (5-8 photos), color or black and white (single photo cannot be duplicated in a photo set).

- New work created from January 2025, has never won any other competitions, co-authored photos are not accepted.

- Each author can submit up to 5 works (including single photos and photo series).

2. Technical requirements:

- JPG/JPEG file, capacity >5MB, size ≥2000x3000px, 300dpi.

- Scanned photos, screenshots, and photos from AI are not accepted.

- Photos must be authentic, not collaged (except panoramas), not added or subtracted to distort reality. Must have original files when requested by the Organizing Committee.

3. How to enter the contest:
