Launching the Online Contest "Learning about the Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue in 2024"

The online contest "Learning about the Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue in 2024" takes place from 8:00 a.m. on May 26, 2025 to 5:30 p.m. on June 10, 2025.

Contestants are citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, 14 years of age or older, living, working, laboring and studying in Son La province. Contestants are not allowed to participate in the contest: those who have lost or have limited civil capacity according to the provisions of law. Members of the Organizing Committee, the Question and Answer Drafting Team; the Secretariat assisting the Organizing Committee of the Contest and the technical department directly participate in the process of organizing the Contest.

The content of the test to learn about the Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue in 2024 is in the form of an online multiple-choice test on the Son La Provincial Electronic Information Portal at: https://thitimhieuphapluat.sonla.gov.vn. Candidates answer multiple-choice questions directly on computers or mobile devices with Internet connection according to a pre-designed set of questions.

During the contest, each individual has a maximum of 3 entries. The system will select the entry with the highest score to be considered for the prize.

The method of awarding prizes, the final result is the highest result in the contestants' test rounds. The Organizing Committee selects the winner as the contestant with the most correct multiple choice answers, the fastest time to complete the contest, the question of predicting the number of participants with correct or closest answers (upper and lower bounds) compared to the final summary results of the Contest Organizing Committee, ranked from high to low until the required number of prizes is selected according to the regulations. In case there are 2 or more people, with the same multiple choice answer results, the same prediction about the number of contestants, the Organizing Committee will base on the time to complete the contest, the contestant with less time to complete the contest will be ranked higher.

Prize structure, the Organizing Committee awards individual prizes to departments, branches, sectors, provincial organizations, universities and colleges, including: 1 First prize: 3,000,000 VND/prize and a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 5 Second prizes: 2,000,000 VND/prize; 7 Third prizes: 1,000,000 VND/prize; 10 Consolation prizes: 500,000 VND/prize. Individual prize structure to districts, cities and towns, including: 1 First prize: 3,000,000 VND/prize and a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 5 Second prizes: 2,000,000 VND/prize; 7 Third prizes: 1,000,000 VND/prize; 10 Consolation prizes: 500,000 VND/prize.

The Provincial People's Committee requests provincial departments, branches, sectors, and mass organizations; member sectors of the Provincial Law Dissemination and Education Coordination Council; Chairmen of District and Commune People's Committees; Tay Bac University, Son La College; High Schools and Continuing Education Centers to disseminate and thoroughly understand relevant documents and regulations of the Online Contest "Learning about the Law on Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue in 2024" to cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, students, officers and soldiers in the armed forces and the people.
