Directly participating in propagating social insurance and health insurance policies for people at the district center, Ms. Quang Thi Hoa, an official of the Social Insurance Department of Sop Cop district, said: The form of propaganda must be flexible, in addition to group propaganda, it is also necessary to promote communication through social networks such as Zalo and Facebook; organize propaganda conferences in the evening, Saturday and Sunday; use ethnic languages ​​for propaganda. At the same time, guide people to use the VNeID application, chip-embedded ID cards instead of paper health insurance cards for medical examination and treatment; mobilize organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to donate social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Mua Thi Mai, a trader at the Central Market of Sop Cop District, said: Thanks to the district and commune Social Insurance officers' propaganda about the benefits of voluntary social insurance and health insurance, my family of 4 members all participate in health insurance. In addition, my husband and I also participate in voluntary social insurance, later we will have a pension, and will be given free health insurance cards, reducing the economic burden for our children and grandchildren when they get old.

In Dom Cang commune, which has achieved new rural standards since 2020, ensuring the maintenance of new rural criteria on health insurance coverage, every year, the Party Committee and the commune government include health insurance development targets in the socio-economic development plan; assign targets to each village, add them to the village covenants and conventions on implementing health insurance targets and use them as year-end criteria for considering cultural families.

Ms. Tong Thi Mai, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dom Cang Commune, said: The commune has 9 villages with a population of more than 4,400 people, of which 2 are particularly disadvantaged. In 2025, the commune is assigned to have a health insurance coverage rate of 92% of the population. The commune sends labor - war invalids and social affairs officials to coordinate with district social insurance officers to each village to propagate and mobilize people to participate in health insurance. Encourage and create conditions for people to develop the economy, especially growing coffee trees, to increase income, to have conditions to participate in health insurance. Up to now, the whole commune has 3,925 people participating in health insurance, reaching 99.9% of the assigned plan; the health insurance coverage rate reaches 89% of the population.

Sop Cop has 8 communes with a population of 54,179 people; of which, 2 communes meet the new rural standards. Every year, the District People's Committee has issued a decision on assigning targets for developing social insurance and health insurance participants to each commune. Directing the District Social Insurance to strengthen and arrange cadres and civil servants to coordinate with the Commune People's Committees to go to villages and residential groups to guide people to participate according to specific types of subjects. Mobilizing organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to buy and give health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Quang Thi Dung, Director of the Social Insurance of Sop Cop district, said: Since the beginning of the year, the unit has coordinated to broadcast 618 times to propagate voluntary social insurance; posted 16 times of communication products on the unit's social networking sites. Up to now, the whole district has 1,913 people participating in compulsory social insurance; 893 people participating in voluntary social insurance; 51,401 participating in health insurance, reaching 97.52% of the plan assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, the health insurance coverage rate reached 96% of the population.

In addition, the unit proactively coordinates with functional sectors to strengthen inspection of employers in the implementation of social insurance and health insurance payments for employees; coordinates with the health sector to improve the quality of health insurance examination and treatment. Promote administrative reform, resolve social insurance and health insurance policies. Since the beginning of the year, it has reviewed and approved one-time social insurance payment for 31 cases, with an amount of 456 million VND; 3 retirement cases; 3 death cases, with an amount of 46 million VND; health insurance examination and treatment expenses in April alone were over 2.6 billion VND...
