The International Children's Painting Competition "I Love Hanoi - City For Peace" is held annually.

The International Painting Competition is held annually to promote andeducate about the love of peace for Vietnamese and international children; promote the image of Hanoi - the thousand-year-old capital, the creative city, "Cultured - Civilized - Modern", at the same time, create a healthy playground, increase opportunities for exchange and solidarity between Vietnamese and international children. In 2022, the competition attracted over 300 contestants from the capital and international countries to participate, creating an atmosphere of learning and competing to demonstrate artistic talent among the young generation.

The contest is for Vietnamese teenagers and children and foreign teenagers and children living and studying in Hanoi. With the theme "I love Hanoi - City for Peace ", the content of the paintings is about Hanoi - City for Peace, Creative City "Cultured - Civilized - Modern", about love, people and life, beautiful nature, fighting against environmental pollution, fighting against war, poverty, epidemics... Contestants will compete directly in drawing for 90 minutes using colors of their choice such as watercolor, wax, powder, oil paint, felt-tip pen, colored pen...

The event is expected to take place on the occasion of the Capital Liberation Day, October 10, 2023, at the walking space around Hoan Kiem Lake and surrounding areas.

The Organizing Committee will receive registration documents from September 15 to 20, 2023 via email: [email protected] or the Department of Exploitation and Event Organization - City Cultural Center, No. 7 Phung Hung, Ha Dong District, Hanoi. International candidates register to take the exam at the address of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations, 15A Ly Thuong Kiet, Phan Chu Trinh Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
