Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Duc, Director of the Propaganda Department, emphasized: The campaign is a key cultural and artistic activity to implement projects to celebrate major holidays of the country and the army in 2024; aiming to mobilize and gather the spirit of creative labor of Vietnamese artists to create propaganda paintings on the theme of the armed forces in revolutionary war, vividly depicting the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers, widely propagating and promoting to compatriots and soldiers nationwide the spirit of military-civilian solidarity, the glorious tradition of 80 years of building, fighting and growing of the army.

Through the creation of propaganda paintings, we aim to widely spread the contributions and achievements of the armed forces and people of the whole country in the current cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The organizers hope that authors and artists nationwide will contribute to reflecting and rekindling the strong vitality of propaganda paintings, continuing to embellish the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers; conveying meaningful messages to encourage the patriotic emulation movement; arousing passion, promoting creativity, and most practically, propaganda paintings on the theme of Uncle Ho's soldiers, serving propaganda on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the army.
