On the afternoon of June 2, in Hanoi , the Central Youth Union coordinated with the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Society to organize the launching ceremony of the online interactive quiz contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026).

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh said: Over nearly 80 years of formation and development, the Vietnamese National Assembly has always affirmed its role as the highest representative body, the highest state power body, representing the will, aspirations and mastery of the people.
The online interactive quiz contest "Learning about the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam" is a meaningful, practical and creative political and social activity. At the same time, it is an opportunity for the young generation, cadres, party members and all the people, overseas Vietnamese to review together the glorious milestones, contributing to nurturing patriotism and civic spirit in the new era.
Through the digital platform, the contest opens up a large interactive space, creating conditions for all classes of people, especially union members, youth, students, and pupils to participate, exchange and spread knowledge, thereby continuing to foster faith, aspiration, and determination to build an independent, strong, and sustainably developed Vietnam.
Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, effective, creative and dedicated coordination between the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Society, the Central Youth Union and the National Assembly Office in organizing the contest.

Expressing that the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is honored to be trusted by the National Assembly and assigned the task of organizing the contest at such a meaningful time, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy said: The Central Youth Union Secretariat is committed to preparing and organizing the contest in a thoughtful, scientific and effective manner, creating a wide spread not only to union members and youth but also to the masses across the country.
“The Central Secretariat of the Youth Union requests that provincial, municipal and affiliated Youth Unions actively and proactively implement the contest in all levels of the Youth Union; integrate it into thematic activities, branch activities, and youth theory club activities to introduce the contest and encourage union members and young people to actively participate. Along with that, it is necessary to clearly establish a mechanism for regular and periodic statistics and information; strengthen urging, reminding, encouraging and praising collectives and individuals who actively participate in the contest,” emphasized comrade Bui Quang Huy.
First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy called on all union officials, union members and young people to promote the pioneering spirit of youth. Each young person is an active ambassador to participate in responding and promoting, so that the contest can spread more widely in the community.
Accordingly, the contest is organized with rich content, diverse and modern forms, divided into 2 stages, starting from June 2 to December 2, 2025, for a large number of children and people at home and abroad.
Specifically, the first stage is a multiple-choice test, from June 2 to October 14, 2025, at the website thitructuyen.doanthanhnien.vn . Every week, the two test platforms will open the portal starting at 0:00 on Wednesday and close the portal at 0:00 on Wednesday of the following week (each test week lasts for 7 days). Players will answer 10 multiple-choice questions; the second stage will be an online interactive test on the Facebook community network (fanpage), from October 14 to December 2, 2025; taking place from 20:00 to 21:00 every Tuesday, each test week is associated with a topic.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, union members and young people participated in the response contest.
