3 bombs discovered in rice fields in Bac Ninh

On November 13, information from the People's Committee of Son Dong commune, Bac Ninh province said: At 9:00 a.m. on November 12, 2025, the People's Committee of the commune received a report from the people of Thuong 1 village about the discovery of an object believed to be a bomb in the rice field area in the village.

Immediately upon receiving the news, the Commune People's Committee promptly directed the Commune Military Command and the Commune Police to coordinate with the Bac Ninh Provincial Military Command to inspect and verify; thereby, a total of 3 bombs were discovered in the above area.

The Commune Military Command presides over and coordinates with the Commune Police to arrange forces to be on duty 24/24 hours, guard, put up warning signs, set up temporary fences around the area where the bomb was discovered to ensure that people are absolutely not allowed to travel, work, or gather near the area where the bomb was discovered; at the same time, implement relevant professional measures to handle the incident in accordance with regulations; regularly and promptly report developments to the Commune People's Committee, the Provincial Military Command, and the Defense Command of Area 1 - Chu.
