Right from the beginning of the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Lai Chau Power Company has clearly identified Party building as the key. On that basis, the Party Committee has focused on leading, directing, thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing the directives and resolutions of the Central Committee and higher levels to each Party cell, each cadre and Party member. Political and ideological education work has been strongly innovated in both content and form, applying information technology in studying resolutions, thereby helping cadres and Party members to easily access, easily remember and easily follow. 100% of cadres and Party members have studied, thoroughly grasped and fully propagated the directives and resolutions of the Party at all levels.
At the same time, the Party Committee focused on developing the Party and improving the quality of cadres and Party members. During the term, it trained 54 outstanding people, admitted 42 new Party members, and officially transferred 38 Party members to the Party. Inspection and supervision work was carried out seriously, in accordance with procedures, ensuring discipline and order in the Party. Inspections and supervisions were all carried out with focus and key points, contributing to timely detecting and correcting limitations and shortcomings in the Party organization and Party members.

In particular, the implementation of Conclusion 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has been concretized by the Party Committee through many practical topics. Thereby, it contributes to training political mettle, revolutionary morality, building a contingent of cadres and party members with qualities and abilities, who are truly pioneers and role models.
During the 2020-2025 term, despite facing many difficulties such as: the impact of epidemics, natural disasters, rugged terrain... under the close leadership of the Party Committee, the Company has comprehensively completed production and business targets.
Total commercial electricity output in 2020 reached nearly 198 million kWh and has continuously increased over the years, reaching 267.82 million kWh by 2024. The quality of electricity supply has been increasingly improved, and electricity loss has been well controlled. The average electricity price and annual electricity collection rate have both met and exceeded the targets assigned by the Corporation. Investment and construction work has been focused on, hundreds of kilometers of power lines and transformer stations have been newly installed, providing electricity to 100% of communes, 97.1% of villages have electricity, exceeding the target and 4 years ahead of the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress.
The past term also recorded the proud results of Lai Chau Electricity in implementing the program to support poor districts according to Resolution 30a of the Government. The Company has taken the lead in implementing many key rural electricity projects in Than Uyen, Tan Uyen, Phong Tho. With a total investment of more than 980 billion VND, the rate of households with electricity in Lai Chau has increased from 43% (in 2008) to 97.7% (in 2021), contributing to bringing 100% of communes to the national grid by 2015. Power projects not only improve people's lives, but also promote socio -economic development, contributing to bringing Tan Uyen and Than Uyen out of the poor district category, strengthening people's trust in the Party, the State and the Electricity industry.

Digital transformation, administrative reform and customer service have been promoted. Cashless payment platforms, online customer care, electronic invoices, etc. have been put into stable operation, bringing convenience to people and businesses.
Not only ensuring a stable power source for socio-economic development, the Company also actively participates in security and defense work. Every year, it develops a plan to protect security and order, closely coordinates with the police and local authorities to ensure the safety of the power grid and prevent theft of electrical equipment. Defense work is focused on, many officers are sent to improve their knowledge of defense and security, and participate in the militia and self-defense force.
In addition, the Company also promotes social, humanitarian and charitable activities, supporting hundreds of millions of VND for poor households, people in difficult circumstances, participating in building charity houses, rural lighting projects...
A highlight of the past term was the close coordination between the Party Committee, professional leaders and unions. The implementation of grassroots democracy regulations was promoted, creating conditions for workers to contribute opinions and monitor the unit's activities. Patriotic emulation movements, technical innovation initiatives, and digital transformation were widely deployed, arousing the sense of responsibility, love for the profession and dedication of workers.
The Trade Union, Youth Union, Veterans Association, and Lawyers Association all operate effectively, organizing many practical activities such as: donating blood, disseminating the law, organizing sports competitions, tree planting festivals, and taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members.
In particular, the movement of studying and following Uncle Ho, emulating "Skillful mass mobilization" associated with building cultural enterprises and civilized offices are maintained regularly, creating a united, democratic and effective working environment.
Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of Lai Chau Power Company has determined the key goal as: Building a comprehensively strong and clean Party Committee, leading the excellent completion of political and production and business tasks, contributing to the socio-economic development of Lai Chau province.
The Party Committee will continue to improve its leadership capacity, innovate the working methods of Party committees and organizations at all levels; improve the quality of Party cell activities, develop new Party members, and focus on training young cadres with qualifications, courage, and ethics.
One of the key, top and also the continuous tasks of the unit is to effectively implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, considering this both a task and a driving force to improve work efficiency and effectiveness, increasingly better meeting the needs of customers. In addition, the Party Committee of the Company also resolutely directed the thorough implementation of the "revolution" to streamline the apparatus in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Central Committee on a number of issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient.
Regarding production and business, the Company aims to modernize the power grid, increase investment in upgrading power infrastructure, reduce power loss to below 2.81%, develop customer services on digital platforms, promote the application of artificial intelligence and big data in the management and operation of the power system.
In addition, the Party Committee will focus on taking care of workers' lives, promoting the role of mass organizations, arousing creativity and responsibility, building a team of "both red and professional" cadres and employees, contributing to making the Company a strong unit with sustainable development in the new period.
With the tradition of solidarity, high sense of responsibility and the consensus and determination of all cadres, party members and workers, the Party Committee of Lai Chau Power Company will certainly continue to reap many new successes, contributing positively to the development of the Electricity industry and Lai Chau province in the period of integration and development.
