Thanks to synchronous and effective solutions, tourists coming to Son Duong account for nearly 50% of the total number of tourists in the province. Social revenue from tourism activities in the district annually reaches over 1,000 billion VND. In 3 years, from 2021 to 2023, Son Duong district has attracted about 2,463,200 visitors, social revenue from tourism is 2,517.8 billion VND. It is estimated that in the first 3 months of 2024, the number of visitors to the district is about 262,100, social revenue from tourism is 291.1 billion VND.

Tourism development has contributed positively to the locality’s goal of sustainable poverty reduction. Last year, Son Duong was recognized as a locality that sharply reduced the number of poor households, with more than 3,200 households escaping poverty (equivalent to 6.42%), nearly double the assigned plan.
