Actress and producer Dinh Ngoc Diep (second from left) shares her passion for the film.

Actor Quoc Huy shared: "I myself was not surprised when I heard that Victor Vu was recasting the role of Detective Kien. I know he is a perfectionist and meticulous person. That is clearly shown in the films, from the shots, costumes to the way the scene is set up. This is a big film project. It has been two years since filming "The Last Wife", there is no certainty that I can maintain the same form or charisma as when filming the previous film. Recasting from my perspective is necessary, because the character Detective Kien is now the main character. This requires the person taking on the role to have more emotions and acting. I really had to practice again, like a blank page. Luckily, the director still found this character in me."

Actress-producer Dinh Ngoc Diep described herself as "just wanting to express gratitude" when the film had the opportunity to be released in theaters and reach the masses. "I always think that Vietnamese audiences have good aesthetic taste and sophistication in enjoying art. The audience always gives very frank comments and the crew is also very happy to receive comments, whether they are positive or negative. I want if there is a sequel, the film must be better and better," the person who plays the role of Hai Man confided.

Therefore, even though filming in the forest at night, the two actors were very comfortable and felt safe. However, during filming, there were times when Dinh Ngoc Diep could not control all the scenes. "There were times when I accidentally dislocated My Uyen's ribs because I performed movements too strongly. Even though it was very painful, she did not stop because she wanted to continue to keep the rhythm for the film crew. That effort and professionalism made me - her younger sister - bow my head in admiration," Dinh Ngoc Diep said about her senior at the premiere in Hanoi.

Director Victor Vu took this opportunity to tell the story of finding the "rough diamond" Minh Anh - a 17-year-old actress who plays a very important character in the plot of "Detective Kien: The Headless Case".

People's Artist My Uyen confided: "Before accepting the role, I read the script very carefully to imagine the character's portrait. No character is small, I always believe that. Director Victor Vu is also very "greedy", especially in action scenes. When we were on set, we worked very hard to meet the martial arts director's requirements. But now when I look back, I see that the effort was worth it."

This young actress herself signed up for the casting. Victor Vu described: "Minh Anh really surprised me. You are so young. The character Nga requires a lot of emotion. When you acted in a scene during the casting, I clearly saw your confidence and complete immersion in the role. You were not affected by the people watching you act at that time. You acted very naturally, especially when compared to people of the same age. After a total of four casting rounds, Minh Anh was the perfect choice for this role".

The couple Salim-Hai Long confided: "It's been a long time since we had the chance to go to the movies together. Throughout the movie, we had to hold hands tightly because of the very scary jump-scare scenes. The movie gave us a very thrilling and dramatic feeling.
