Two passenger buses were traveling on Ho Chi Minh Road when passing through Krong Buk district, Dak Lak province, when they collided, seriously injuring two drivers and causing panic among many passengers on the bus.

On the morning of May 31, information from the Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Province Police said that the unit is coordinating with relevant agencies to direct traffic, support the victims and investigate and clarify the cause of the accident between two sleeper buses in the early morning of the same day.

According to initial information, at around 4:20 a.m. on May 31, at Km1715+300 on Ho Chi Minh Road through Cu Ne Commune, Krong Buk District, Dak Lak Province, a sleeper bus with license plate 47B-019.28 of Bao Huy Company running on the Dak Nong - Hai Duong route, driven by driver Dang Duc Dung (born in 1971, residing in Buon Ma Thuot City), was traveling from Gia Lai Province to Dak Lak.

When arriving at the above location, there was a collision with a sleeper bus with license plate 81B-010.30 of Hong Hai bus company running on the Ho Chi Minh City - Gia Lai route driven by driver Che Thanh Tinh (born in 1976, residing in Bong Son town, Hoai Nhon district, Binh Dinh province) traveling in the opposite direction.

The collision caused both buses to crash into the right side of the road. The bus with license plate 47B-019.28 had its front, side and left window smashed, while the bus with license plate 81B-010.30 had its right window and side smashed. The accident seriously injured both drivers and they were taken to the Central Highlands General Hospital for emergency treatment.

According to initial information, at the time of the accident, there were a total of 47 passengers on the 2 passenger buses, causing many people to panic and scream. The accident left 2 passengers with minor injuries and they were taken to the Cu Ne Commune Medical Center for first aid.

After the accident, two bus companies dispatched vehicles to help the passengers continue their journey. The Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Province arrived promptly to assist the victims, while also directing traffic and investigating the cause of the accident.
