The Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Quang Ninh Provincial Police, has established 5 working groups to coordinate and support the police of communes, wards and towns to conduct comprehensive inspections and reviews to grasp and accurately assess the number of households and residents in the whole province, including: permanent residence, temporary residence, temporary residence, temporary absence; firmly grasp population movements; compliance with the law on residence of individuals and organizations; proactively detect, remove difficulties and obstacles and promptly correct and handle violations and shortcomings in the implementation process; detect and prevent crimes and other violations of the law.
Thereby, ensuring that information on households and residents in the area is updated promptly and accurately on the national population data system "correct, sufficient, clean, and alive".

Previously, in May 2025, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (Quang Ninh Provincial Police) also coordinated with 171/171 commune-level police in the whole province to advise local Party committees and authorities to prepare conditions to serve the general inspection and review of residence to achieve the best results.
During the general inspection and review process, the police force will combine to guide people to contribute opinions to participate in the draft amendment to the Constitution on VNeID, issue ID cards to citizens; issue and activate electronic identification accounts and digital signatures for individuals and organizations, contributing to the successful implementation of Project 06 of the Government .
On the first day of the general inspection, the police of Quang Ninh province inspected 2,415 households with 8,275 people. Of which, 135 cases were updated and adjusted citizen information on the National Population Database; 25 new residence registration cases were registered; 27 cases of violations of regulations on registration and residence management were detected and handled.
