It is forecasted that this morning (June 3), thunderstorms will continue to occur in the mountainous and midland areas of the North with rainfall of 15-40mm, locally over 70mm.

This afternoon and tonight, the Northwest region, the plains, the midlands of the North and the North Central region will have showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 15-30mm, locally over 80mm.

Warning of the risk of heavy rain (>80mm/3h). Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rain may cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.

Provinces and cities from Thanh Hoa to Hue are cloudy, sunny during the day, some places are very hot. In the north, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. The lowest temperature is 26-29 degrees Celsius, the highest is 33-38 degrees Celsius.
