Thanh Lan Island belongs to Thanh Lan commune, is the largest island of Co To archipelago with an area of 27km², 4km from Co To island by sea.
To get to Thanh Lan, visitors can travel from Co To island in about 20 minutes by boat, or take a speedboat straight from the mainland - departing from Ao Tien port (Van Don district), ticket price is 300,000 VND/way/person, travel time is 1 hour 30 minutes.
With unique natural and cultural values, the tourism industry in Thanh Lan in particular and Co To district in general is building and developing tourism products combining relaxation with nature exploration and culinary experiences.

Ms. Le Thi Trang (born in 1992), owner of Thanh Lan Homestay, is one of the pioneering local tour guides on the island, providing package tours as well as unique tours.
She said that in the past 3 years, Thanh Lan has been quite "hot" on forums for backpacking and nature tourism. On special occasions such as the April 30 and May 1 holidays, her family welcomed up to 200 guests. The 4 most beautiful beaches are called by the locals as Ba Chau beach, Vung Tron beach, 76 beach and Hai Quan beach.
