Prime time Vietnamese drama on VTV defames the medical industry and disregards the law?

The latest episode of the movie Heart Rescue Station with the plot of An Nhien (Luong Thu Trang) asking someone to fake pregnancy records, fake miscarriage medical records made the audience indignant.

Specifically, in order to win Nghia's (Quang Su) affection, An Nhien asked her familiar doctor to lie about her pregnancy, from which Nghia was moved to decide to propose and register his marriage with An Nhien. In episode 33 of the film, An Nhien continued to ask the doctor to fake information about the fetus with just one phone call. She even asked the doctor to help her deceive Nghia into thinking that she was 12 weeks pregnant with a daughter.

By chance, Mrs. Xinh (People's Artist My Uyen) heard this story. An Nhien did not hesitate to stage a scene of pushing and shoving Mrs. Xinh, causing her to miscarry.

At the hospital, An Nhien continued to act out the painful act of losing her child under the doctor's cover-up to gain Nghia's sympathy, making him suspicious of her biological mother.

The doctor who appeared in this scene even encouraged and shared with Nghia about "this loss" even though he knew very well that An Nhien was not pregnant.

The incident angered many viewers because they thought the film was giving extremely false information about the medical industry. Specifically, doctors falsifying medical records and changing patient information to deceive others is not only a loss of medical ethics but also a serious violation of the law. However, in the film, with just one phone call, the doctor is ready to "act" and stage a scene with her just to deceive Nghia.

The audience was outraged and commented that the scene of An Nhien and the doctor acting out a miscarriage was a defamation of the medical profession.

The plot of the film was not only considered absurd by many viewers but also considered to defame the medical profession and disregard the law. Many viewers went to VFC's Facebook page to leave comments expressing their indignation at the reckless and absurd way the production crew of the film Heart Rescue Station constructed the script.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time the film has had details that give the audience a distorted view of the medical profession and disregard for the law. These details are considered forced, too easy, and unconvincing to the audience.

For example, before that, Nghia also "asked" the obstetrician to falsify Ngan Ha's (Hong Diem) medical records to deceive her into thinking she was infertile, and even when doing IVF (in vitro fertilization), he "magically" prevented the female lead from getting pregnant.

We all know that IVF is a very complicated medical procedure, and only a few top hospitals can do it. In the movie, Ngan Ha and her husband are both wealthy people, with the desire to have children, they will definitely find a really reputable place to do it. However, there is not a single detail in the movie that helps the audience know how her husband was able to easily turn the doctor here into his lying accomplice, not just in one incident but throughout the long process of finding a child.

A series of negative details related to the medical industry, disregard for the law, but expressed in an absurdly innocent way in Heart Rescue Station made the audience angry, calling for a boycott of the film.

However, some viewers think that those details are acceptable to more clearly portray the characters' personalities in the film and that everyone should be patient to see those who do evil will have to pay in the following episodes.
