The film revolves around the career journey of a reluctant chef. He must overcome his own fears to fulfill his late father's wishes, preserve and inherit the family's traditional profession.
Through the story, director Duong Ngoc Cua wants to send a message to young people that "starting your own business is a path that faces many difficulties and challenges, but with a sense of responsibility, effort and self-belief, you will overcome them all."

Minh Kha is the only son of Mr. Duy, the owner of a traditional restaurant , and is always expected by his father to inherit, preserve and develop the family business. However, with his playful and careless personality, Kha often conflicts with his father and does not care about his father's wishes, preferring to live according to his own impulsive desires.
The unexpected incident happened when Mr. Duy suddenly passed away, Kha was devastated and regretful. To make up for his mistakes, he was forced to change his perspective on life to become a worthy successor as his father had long desired. The condition was that Kha had to follow what Mr. Duy had instructed in his will: become head chef for 100 days, he also had to be supervised by Bao Chau - a talented and strict student that Mr. Duy trusted wholeheartedly.
