Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Be Thanh Tinh works with the Research Delegation of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics

On the afternoon of November 13, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Be Thanh Tinh chaired a working session with the Field Research Delegation of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics led by Associate Professor Dr. Lam Quoc Tuan, Director of the Institute of Party Building, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

Also attending were comrades: Nong Thanh Tung, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Vu Khac Quang, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches and Hoang Dinh Giong Political School.

The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics' field research delegation, including students of the Advanced Political Theory Class K75.B16 and K75.B17 from central agencies, came to study and conduct field research in the province from November 13 to 15.

At the working session, the provincial co-leaders informed about the results of the work of preventing and combating degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" among cadres and party members at the grassroots level; the work of building a healthy cultural environment and life associated with the movements "All people unite to build a cultural life", "Building new rural areas (NTM), civilized urban areas" in Cao Bang province.

The work of preventing and combating ideological, moral, lifestyle degradation, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" among cadres and party members at the grassroots level has been focused on by Party committees and organizations at all levels in Cao Bang province with high political determination, unity, comprehensiveness, and synchronization in all aspects and has achieved many important results. The dissemination, implementation, and concretization of Central documents have been carried out promptly and seriously by Party committees and organizations at all levels, with inspection and supervision.

The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, combined with the implementation of exemplary responsibilities, has achieved positive results; the cadres have made progress in many aspects; the majority of cadres have upheld their sense of responsibility and fulfilled their assigned tasks well. The leadership capacity and fighting strength of the grassroots party organizations and the quality of the cadres and party members have been increasingly improved. The work of inspection, supervision and Party discipline has been strengthened. The fight against corruption, waste and negativity has been promoted.

The work of building a healthy environment and cultural life associated with the movements "All people unite to build a cultural life", "Building new rural areas and civilized urban areas" has achieved many positive results, creating a clear change in the face of rural mountainous areas. Awareness and responsibility of Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have been raised; the great solidarity bloc of the people continues to be consolidated. People agree and actively participate in building a healthy environment and cultural life associated with campaigns, donating over 125,000 m² of land, 65,300 working days, contributing more than 18.5 billion VND to build rural roads, and beautify residential landscapes; In the period of 2021 - 2025, the whole province has built 658 models, of which 412 models have maintained effectiveness and been replicated. By June 2025, the whole province will have 1 urban area meeting the criteria of a type II urban area (the old Cao Bang city) and 2 urban areas meeting the criteria of a type IV urban area (Tra Linh town, the old Trung Khanh district and Tinh Tuc town, the old Nguyen Binh district...

The work of social supervision, criticism, care for the poor, and social security has achieved practical results. Thereby, it has contributed to stabilizing political security, social order and safety, creating motivation to complete the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building the Party and the political system in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Be Thanh Tinh affirmed: With the spirit of openness, cooperation and development, the province wishes to continue to receive your comments and enthusiastic contributions, contributing to improving the effectiveness of socio-economic development tasks, Party building and political system building in the province. He emphasized that Cao Bang is a mountainous and border province with many difficulties, especially after the recent floods, many localities in the province suffered heavy damage to infrastructure and people's lives. The province will continue to make efforts to overcome difficulties, promote socio-economic development, care for people's lives, and at the same time focus on Party building, consolidate a strong political system, to meet development requirements in the new period.

On behalf of the working delegation, Associate Professor Dr. Lam Quoc Tuan, Director of the Institute of Party Building, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, sincerely thanked Cao Bang province for the thoughtful and warm welcome. This field trip is an important activity, creating conditions for students to directly learn, survey, and compare theory and practice, thereby better understanding the socio-economic development situation, Party building work, and consolidation of the political system at the grassroots level.

Through the business trip, the trainees have more opportunities to accumulate practical experience, improve their political qualities, leadership and management capacity and the ability to creatively apply theory to practical work. This is also an opportunity for the Academy to continue to improve the content and methods of training and fostering cadres in a practical and effective way, linking theory with real life, contributing to building a cadre team with sufficient qualities, capacity and prestige to meet the requirements of the task.

The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics research delegation awarded funding to support the province in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

On this occasion, the delegation presented two charity houses and provided financial support to overcome natural disaster consequences to the Cao Bang Provincial Relief Fund with a total amount of 440 million VND.
