On May 23, Comrade Nong Thanh Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended a meeting at the Party Cell of Phuc Son hamlet, Duc Long commune (Hoa An).
Phuc Son hamlet Party cell has 24 party members. At the meeting, the Party cell informed about current events, disseminated some documents of the Party, State and higher levels; assessed the ideological situation of party members; led and directed the implementation of tasks in May and deployed tasks for June 2023.
In May, the Party Cell and mass organizations well implemented the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State. The Party Cell propagated, disseminated and implemented directives, resolutions, programs and plans of the Central, Provincial, District and Commune Party Committees to all cadres, Party members and people. Directed and urged people to care for and harvest tobacco to ensure productivity and quality; however, 7.1 hectares of crops of 41 households were damaged due to prolonged drought. There were 243 cattle and 1,800 poultry. The work of disease prevention and control, food hygiene and safety, health care for people and summer epidemics was well implemented. The security and order situation in the area was maintained. The grassroots democracy regulations were well implemented, the background check and verification were organized and 1 outstanding mass profile was sent to propose Party membership.
Next, the Party cell organized a thematic meeting for the second quarter with the content "Celebrating the 113th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday: Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on preventing and combating corruption and waste".
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nong Thanh Tung requested that in the coming time, the Party Cell of Phuc Son hamlet continue to strengthen propaganda and ideological orientation for cadres, party members and people; promptly grasp and resolve the legitimate aspirations and wishes of party members and the masses. Direct organizations to mobilize and help eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area; promote the work of ensuring security and order. Continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity and democracy; focus on developing party members, building a clean and strong Party Cell.
