Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai was pleased to welcome the Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Piraeu, Greece Gabriel Petris to visit and work at the National Assembly House; highly appreciated the potential and reality of Greece in the fields of maritime transport and shipbuilding industry. The Greek fleet accounts for a large proportion of the world 's maritime transport industry.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly hoped that after this visit, the investment cooperation plan of Aerius Energy Group in Vietnam would be quickly implemented based on the current strengths of the Vietnamese partner, as well as expanding cooperation with other components and localities; affirming that Vietnam is ready to encourage support for the maritime transport and shipbuilding industry, building Vietnam's transport fleet, as well as cooperating with other international partners.

Expressing his gratitude to Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai for taking the time to receive him, Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Piraeu, Greece Gabriel Petris expressed his pleasure in visiting and working in Vietnam; stating that, in addition to developing traditional fields, the two countries have great potential for investment cooperation in maritime transport, shipbuilding industry and maritime security, thereby contributing to attracting investment and business partners in Vietnam.

The Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Piraeu, Greece, wishes to expand cooperation with Vietnamese localities and enterprises in the maritime sector, shipyard construction, and yacht building - areas where the two sides have great potential for cooperation.

Agreeing with the above proposal, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai hoped that through his visit to Vietnam, Mr. Gabriel Petris and the delegation could explore investment and cooperation opportunities; emphasizing that the logistics, shipbuilding industry, and seaport construction sectors are being expanded in Vietnam, and many sectors can participate in investment. At the same time, large port and seaport logistics areas have been planned and are being built in all three regions of the North, Central, and South.

Believing in the potential for cooperation between the two countries in these fields, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai emphasized that the Vietnamese National Assembly is ready to listen and create conditions to remove bottlenecks and obstacles in mechanisms and laws to support the development of maritime transport and shipbuilding industry.



The Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Piraeu, Greece affirmed that he will actively work with localities and enterprises in Vietnam to promote cooperation in maritime transport and shipbuilding industry, thereby effectively exploiting the cooperation potential of a country with a long coastline, surrounded by ocean like Vietnam to further develop the economy, tourism, maritime security, etc.
