The forum was organized by the People's Committee of Ca Mau province in coordination with the Vietnam Business Association. Speaking at the event, Mr. Pham Van Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Ca Mau, emphasized the forum's special importance. Mr. Thieu requested relevant agencies to create the most favorable conditions for businesses and investors. The focus should be on promoting digitalization in all fields. The province needs to modernize information technology in attracting investment. He also proposed providing online public services throughout the entire process, regardless of administrative boundaries.

To reassure businesses and investors, Mr. Pham Van Thieu requested the Provincial People's Committee to urgently review the planning documents. This aims to ensure consistency and maximize the advantages of each locality. This will serve as a basis for guiding investment attraction by industry, sector, and region, in line with the province's four pillars of investment attraction.
Mr. Pham Van Thieu also affirmed that Ca Mau's position has changed. The province has been identified by the Central Government as the "southernmost province of the Fatherland." This context has created new momentum and aspirations for Ca Mau to rise strongly.
At the forum, Mr. Huynh Chi Nguyen, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, highlighted the strategic advantages. He affirmed that Ca Mau is a national fisheries center aiming for international recognition. The province also has great potential in renewable energy.
The green economic model linked to the mangrove forest ecosystem was also emphasized. Along with that is the advantage of developing logistics with the Hon Khoai dual-use general port and the airport. Mr. Huynh Chi Nguyen affirmed that business development is a key driving force to promote the province's economic growth.
Entrepreneurs, clubs, and young business associations have analyzed and assessed the potential of Ca Mau. They focused on the fields of energy, fisheries, shrimp processing, and infrastructure.
Ms. Vo Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, Mekong Delta Branch, stated that Hon Khoai Port is of particular interest to businesses. She pointed out that the port and its transportation system will create favorable conditions for the export of goods from the Mekong Delta to the world .

Within the framework of the event, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement. On this occasion, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association sponsored 5 billion VND to build toilets and clean water filtration systems for schools in the province. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province also presented Certificates of Commendation to units and businesses that have made positive contributions to the economic and social development of the province.
