Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc inspected the preparation and operation of two-level local government activities in Chau Phu district.

After conducting a field survey in 5 new communes: Chau Phu, Binh My, My Duc, Vinh Thanh Trung and Thanh My Tay, the working group had a working session with the leaders of the communes and Chau Phu district. Accordingly, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc acknowledged the proactiveness and positivity of Chau Phu district in implementing the plan to organize the apparatus, prepare facilities, offices and operations of the commune-level public administrative service center. At the same time, he noted that localities of Chau Phu district should focus on maintaining political stability and administrative discipline during the trial operation and transition of operations, ensuring consistency, smoothness and efficiency from the provincial to the communal level; must put people at the center, not letting the merger process affect the implementation of public services.

Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc emphasized that the organization of the apparatus and personnel of the new communes must ensure the correct procedures, objectivity, right people, right jobs.
