In Dong Hoa commune, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Chinh and Mr. Nguyen Van Xuyen, a 2/4 disabled soldier, both residing in Dong Hoa commune.
Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc kindly asked about the health and life of the wounded soldiers, martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families with meritorious services to the revolution in the cause of fighting for national independence, building and defending the Fatherland.
On the same day, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc worked with leaders of An Minh and Dong Hoa communes to survey the implementation of the two-level government model after the merger. The delegation acknowledged the sense of responsibility and proactiveness of local officials in serving the people, ensuring that administrative activities are not interrupted.
