Phu Hoa 1 Commune evacuated 133 households from flooded areas overnight.

The Ba River water level rose high, in Phu Hoa 1 commune, many areas were deeply flooded and isolated.

These are areas such as Ben hamlet (Phong Hau village); Bun hamlet (Phu Sen Dong village); Bau Da area, Go Mia, Bau Lam, Roc hamlet (Cam Thach village); Ca Bong hamlet, Nha Chay hamlet (Dinh Tho 2 village)... Along with that, on National Highway 25 through the commune, the inter-village and inter-commune roads are currently flooded, cut off, and impassable.

Authorities brought people trapped in the fields to safety.

Mr. Nguyen Truong Thi, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Hoa 1 Commune, said: "That same night, members of the Commune Civil Defense Steering Committee went to inspect the actual situation, promptly directed the commune militia, commune police and villages to report on the flood situation in the Ba River area and along the stream."

Put up warning signs in dangerous areas of the area.

The commune also deployed guards and blocked flooded roads to prohibit people from passing through dangerous areas; at the same time, it encouraged people to proactively raise their property and move people and property to safety.

As of 5:30 a.m. on November 19, the commune authorities had evacuated 133 households with about 326 people to a safe place. To ensure safety, the commune has notified students in the entire area to stay home from school.
